INFORMATION LITERACY AT DRAKE LIBRARY
As ALA (American Library Association) defines it, information literacy is a set of abilities requiring individuals to "recognize when information is needed and have the ability to locate, evaluate, and use effectively the needed information." To be information literate, then, one needs skills not only in research but in critical thinking (ALA). This course is designed to help you become familiar with the library resources available to you and how to use them. Continue to the Modules page to get started.
